News…from the Carolina Room
By Jane Johnson
Manager / Robinson-Spangler Carolina Room
Charlotte Mecklenburg Library

Our many names involving “Carolina” certainly do not give an outsider a true picture of our holdings. This month alone we have new materials from 14 states and the District of Columbia, as well as yearbooks from 10 colleges/universities and 4 military groups. We hope you will tell your friends and neighbors that we are not just about the “great state” of Mecklenburg or Carolina. Hosting visitors this summer? Take a break from the heat and make the Carolina Room one of your destinations to do genealogy or learn more about history. If you have an area of interest and want us to purchase more for that region or about that topic, please let me know!

To search the Library’s entire collection, please visit https://www.cmlibrary.org/. To learn more about library services and programs, go to https://cmlibrary.org/services. These materials were added to our collection from 4/20/2017 to 5/19/2017.
