A chimney that is used for fireplaces on the first and second floor can be seen from this view. There has been repair work to the chimney that is obvious by the replacements of different colored bricks, but most of the chimney appears to be in its original condition. This photo was taken from the driveway and parking lot for the house. A garage used by the Cook family once was on this side of the home, but it has been torn down.
The kitchen is the room on the first floor that protrudes from the rest of the house. The dark green ramp, which leads to the back entrance of the house, is useful for visitors with strollers and wheelchairs.
