Camp Greene Publications

Day-to-day life at Camp Greene was doucumented by the soldiers themselves. The Carolina Room is fortunate to own issues of periodicals published by doctors, engineers, and mechanics training at Camp Greene. The Caduceus, published by the camp's Medical unit, Trench and Camp, a special edition of the Observer, and other publications may be read at the Library. To give visitors to our website a glimpse of camp life, we have uploaded issues of The Propeller, the publication of the Motor Mechanics regiment, whose members serviced airplanes:
