Camp Greene soldiers taking a break.
This photo of an unknown group of soldiers was possibly taken at Camp Grant, IL. Eugene Craft of North Carolina, studied music in Europe and was a WW I soldier at Camp Grant. He later served in various music groups in Charlotte and was Choir Director at First Methodist Church, Charlotte, NC.
The five brothers are in their World War I uniforms. The Doctor refused to wear his Confederate uniform on the grounds that it would be 'improper' with the Federal uniforms.
