Military Details:
Sergeant Donald Powell first enlisted in 1950 and served 1 year in Korea after earning various awards for his actions. Powell then attended the Ranger course at Fort Benning, GA and then served at Pensacola, FL and Dahlonega, GA for Advanced Training. Powell then volunteered for further duty in Korea in 1952. Powell was serving on the front line when he was killed.
