Death Details/Burial/Memorial Services: Badly wounded by a mortar shell on the line. Transported to an aid station where he died. Buried in the 6th Division Cemetery, number one, Row 2, Grave 32, plot B on Okinawa. The cemetery is on a small plateau overlooking the China Sea and was dedicated on the 4th of July.
