Slave has eloped from residence 15 miles northeast of Winnsboro, Fairfield District, SC. Joe is 17 years, tolerably black, slightly pitted by the small pox, and has a large lull eye which shows much of the white. He rode off on a bay horse. He was purchased from Jugnot by Miller. He may make for Lincoln County.
