Memorial Stadium

The American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte was completed in 1937 and seats over 15,000 people. The Shriner Football games and numerous other events take place every year. Second Presbyterian Church

The Second Presbyterian Church was located at 214 North Tryon Street. It opened on October 22, 1873. Methodist Home

This is Charlotte Coliseum that was built off of Independence Boulevard in 1955. This facility was one of the finest designs of its day. In 1989, the second Charlotte Coliseum opened in 1989 off of the Billy Graham Parkway. Today Coliseum #1 is used by a professional hockey team and other sporting clubs and events.
