Death Details/Burial/Memorial Services: After enlisting, he volunteered for immediate overseas duty and was sent to Hawaii in 9/1942. Killed on Lone Tree Hill near Maffin Bay, while acting as a forward observer. Memorial service at First Baptist Church on July 14, 1946.Buried in an American cemetery overseas.
