He was a northerner by birth, but his grandfather was a Kibler of Virginina, and the old Kibler home stood at the head of the Shenandoah Valley. He loved Charlotte and said he planned to come back and visit.He was one of the last two staffers of The Caduceus to leave Charlotte. The Caduceus was a publication of the Camp Greene medical staff.
