Biographical Notes:
He moved to Charlotte from Shelby in 1912. While in the service, he spent most of his time on the front lines. He later ran a trolley for Duke Power until they were replaced by buses in 1938. He lived to be 101 and said he key to a long life was 'If you live long enough, you get old'. He liked to hunt in the Galloway woods in east Charlotte and on the Morrison farm.He was buried at Sharon Memorial Park. His name appears on the city draft list. Address 1202 S. Blvd.
