Biographical Notes:
He began his medical practice in Charlotte in 1908. After serving in WW I, he returned to his medical practice in Charlotte and established a reputation as a diagnostician in internal medicine. 'He became known as an authority on diseases involving heredity factors, and served as professor of genetics at Bowman Gray Medical School until his death in 1943. His funeral services were held in Lexington, VA at a Presbyterian church which he attended as a boy, with funeral to follow.
