Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church and Cemetery [1]
The church was organized on 6-30-1830. The oldest cemetery [2] is on the north side of Mallard Creek Rd. The slave cemetery [3] is east of the old cemetery on the north side of Mallard Creek Rd. The newest cemetery [4] is across the street from the church on the south side of Mallard Creek Church Rd. The list of burials was abstracted by the Gene Kirk and the Mallard Creek Church Cemetery Committee. Unless noted, the burial sites listed are on the north side of Mallard Creek Church Road. This cemetery was recorded by William J. Charles in a survey for the Mecklenburg Genealogy Society on 9/11/1983. The list of burials does not include the slave cemetery because there are no records. This church has cemeteries to the right of the church as well as directly across the street. The photos show both locations.
Documentation - This list of burials was provided by Gene Kirk, his family and the Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery Committee in 1/2004.
