Walker's Drugstore and the Fisk Rubber Company occupied the building at 332 North Tryon Street. Dr. T. Arthur Walker ran the drugstore. This building stands on the corner of 8th and Tryon.

Old Osborne Corner (The Square)

The northwest corner of the Square, the intersection of Trade and Tryon Streets, was once known as Old Osborne Corner. It was named for the Mrs. Osborne who owned a large amount of property in the uptown area.
