Stanley Mulford, Jr.

Death Details/Burial/Memorial Services: Seriously wounded near Dieuze, France on Nov 19. His friend wrote a letter to his parents for Thanksgiving, saying that he was safe and sound. Died of his wounds on December 4 at the 39th Evac. Hospital, Morhange, France. Buried at the 3rd Army Cemetery in Limey, France. Service held August 15, 1945 at First Presbyterian Church for 5 members who were killed in WWII.

James Norville

Death Details/Burial/Memorial Services: He was captured on Bataan in early 1942 and died in a Japanese prison camp.

Death Details/Burial/Memorial Services: Killed in action while leading a bombardment squadron over France. Memorial marker at Normandy, France.

Jack Mulligan

Death Details/Burial/Memorial Services: Drowned in the Sacramento River when the cabin cruiser he was on had an accident. Military funeral was conducted at Elmwood Cemetery on May 30 by Gaffney, SC resident, formerly of Charlotte.

Anthony Tony O'Donoghue

Death Details/Burial/Memorial Services: Captured in Bataan. Took the death march to the Japanese POW camp at Camp O'Donnell where he was put in an improvised hospital. He died there from malaria and dysentery and was buried in the cemetery at the camp. Memorial marker at Ft McKinley, Manila, PI.

Death Details/Burial/Memorial Services: Corporal Munday went overseas in December, 1943. He died from wounds received on D-Day in the invasion of Normandy.

Thomas O'Kelley, Jr.

Death Details/Burial/Memorial Services: Transport plane left Ferry Command HQ at Morrison Field, FL on February 8 and did not return. Search continued until February 25th, but no plane was found. His father believes the plane went down between Brazil and Africa.
