Death Details/Burial/Memorial Services: Missing in action since the battle of Guadalcanal when the USS Juneau was sunk. Presumed dead. Memorial service at Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church on Aug. 8, 1943. A memorial service was held at First Baptist Church on 7-14-46.
